Privacy Policy

Effective Date / Last Updated: August 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how TikPeek ("TikPeek," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information when you visit or use https://tikpeek.net (the "Site" or "Service"). By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

TikPeek is an independent, third-party tool that allows users to look up publicly available TikTok profile information. TikPeek is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected to TikTok or ByteDance Ltd. For more on this, see our Terms of Service.

1. Information We Collect

a) Information You Provide Directly
TikPeek does not require you to create an account, register, or provide an email address, password, or any personal information to search for or view publicly available TikTok profile data. You can use the core features of the Site anonymously.

If you choose to contact us through our Contact page, we will receive whatever information you voluntarily include in that message (for example, your email address, if you provide one, and the contents of your message). We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry.

b) Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, when you visit the Site our servers and infrastructure providers automatically log certain technical information, including:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version, device type, and operating system
  • Referring/exit pages and the pages you visit on the Site
  • Date and timestamp of your visit
  • General, non-precise location inferred from your IP address (e.g., city/country level)

We use this information for site performance, security, rate-limiting, fraud/abuse prevention, and to understand aggregate usage trends. We do not use this information to build individually identifiable profiles of visitors.

c) Search Queries
When you search for a TikTok username or profile link, that query is processed to retrieve the relevant publicly available data. Search results may be temporarily cached to speed up repeat lookups and reduce load on third-party data sources. Cached results expire automatically and are not retained as a permanent, user-linked search history.

d) Cookies and Similar Tracking Technologies
We and our third-party partners use cookies, web beacons, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, secure the Site against abuse, measure traffic, and (once enabled) serve and measure advertising. See Section 3 (Cookies & Advertising) below for details.
